“The Challenge” Season 39 Star Corey Lay Cries About Social Media Culture

The challenge 39 Corey

MTV’s “The Challenge” Season 39 Star Corey Lay doesn’t know what he got himself into joining Reality TV!

The rookie took to social media to share that he believes the fans are the reason the show is declining.

Laurel tweeted:

“I see people complaining about the newest wave of reality tv people and it “not being like it used to.” Cast people who could give a damn if they are on tv or not. That’s my solution. A person who recognizes it’s a cool opportunity but doesn’t change who they are because of it.”

Corey responded:

“Social media is what’s ruining reality tv.

It’s not like it used to be because we get constantly abuse online for being ourselves and making mistakes. So many cast members are afraid to say or do anything while filming.

People pretend they want messy, opinionated, impulsive people on tv then just complain about them online constantly when they appear.

People think me lying to people about being in an alliance is the SCUMMIEST MOVE to ever happen in the history of The Challenge. 🤦🏾‍♂️

The cast that debuted before the peak of social media get a pass. All us newbies are f****.”

Laurel responded:

She basically told him “If you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen.”!
